Nestled into steeply wooded property, this contemporary home connects to its natural setting with the warmth of natural materials. The exterior rainscreen system provides an easily maintained, energy-efficient thermal assembly in natural wood tones. Gray ledgestone replicates the natural stone of the region, visually linking the exterior to the interior where it is used to reinforce the organizing spine along the staircase. The wood and stone palette remains consistent throughout the interiors including the fireplace, kitchen, staircase, and millwork. With the open plan and abundant windows for natural light and views, the design responds to this beautiful property throughout the seasons.
