Position Summary:
Prepares project manuals, including both technical specifications and front end/Division I sections using "Masterspec" and government/institution organization standard formats for a diverse variety of construction types for clients including military, educational (primary and secondary) institutional, municipal, healthcare and retail. Coordinates with Partners, Project Managers, and Project Architects to determine specification content and document coordination. Performs quality control reviews of construction document progress sets.Uses thorough understanding of project design requirements to translate project needs for specific materials, equipment, installation, certifications, testing, and methods applicable to the project. Performs product research, assists in material selection, develops and maintains relationships with vendors, performs quality management reviews, and provides technical advice to project teams.

Weekly luncheon seminars are hosted by vendors to educate attendees on current topics of reference to practicing architects. Many seminars offer continuing education credits.

As a landscape architect, you’ll engage in a wide range of tasks, from high-level conceptual design to technical detailing and on-site observation, while working alongside a collaborative team of architects, engineers, designers and project managers.
You will support the team in:
Developing site designs and documentation from early concept to construction documentation

Developing environmental analyses

NYS licensed Civil Engineering with 10-15 years of experience with focus on site utility design. Applicants should be experienced with various types and sizes of projects and be able to work collaboratively with a team of Architects, Landscape Architects and Engineers.
